Factory to Minimise Carbon Footprint

In a continuing effort to minimise the environmental footprint of our modern and busy factory in the West Midlands, we have invested in an energy efficient lighting system.

In a continuing effort to minimise the environmental footprint of our modern and busy factory in the West Midlands, we have invested in an energy efficient lighting system.

The new lighting system is part of our continuous process to reduce energy consumption in the plant whilst at the same time create a better working environment.

Two areas of lighting have been on test in the factory over recent weeks. Based on monitoring existing lighting consumption and comparing with the test lighting, the £60,000 investment will save the company around £17,500 per year. The increased quality of light will also have a positive effect on our ability to inspect product.

300T Press Undergoes Major Refurbishment

A major refurbishment took place last summer on our 300T Bruck Expanded Metal press to replace the clutch and crank to improve oil leaks and pressure drops. This will improve the reliability and improve customer lead times.

A major refurbishment took place last summer on our 300T Bruck Expanded Metal press to replace the clutch and crank to improve oil leaks and pressure drops. This will improve the reliability and improve customer lead times.

The improvements will contribute to the growing requirements of a 300 tonne, 3 metre wide press which manufactures expanded fence panels and the ever growing popular expanded aluminium architectural cladding panels.
