Another Mini Adventure for the Ash & Lacy Pressings Division

November 18th – a date all ‘miniacs’ will have in their diaries, as the brand new Mini (codenamed F56) will be launched at Plant Oxford in the UK. Following that, November 20th will see a near-simultaneous debut at both the Tokyo Motor Show and Los Angeles Auto Show.

Although the interior design of the new Mini has been a closely guarded secret, we can proudly reveal that the ‘mesh ambient air hi-fi grill’ on the iconic mini dashboard has been manufactured by the Ash & Lacy Pressings Division.

New models from Jaguar Land Rover are also key to the growing success of the Pressings Division. The latest “baby Discovery” coded named L550 will be built at Halewood, Merseyside and is due to be launched at the end of 2014. JLR plans to launch 40 models over the next five years which is a huge boost for Ash & Lacy and the UK Manufacturing industry as a whole.
